The 7th Science & Technology Lecture

Purpose of the lecture

This science and technology conference invited Japanese and German experts to give three lectures each on the themes of "renewable energy" and "food and agriculture," which are closely related to preventing global warming, and are one of the 17 challenges toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in September 2015. This year's theme will be "Coexistence between Forests and People. Through keynote speeches by lecturers from Japan and Sweden and panel discussions, we hope to stimulate a lively exchange of opinions, particularly among young people who will be responsible for the future, about how forests and humanity can coexist, which is a global issue.
